John became the managing director of Priority Investigations in April 2013. He originally joined the family business in 1991, where he completed an extensive internship in the early 1990s throughout Ireland and the UK. He has experience in international research screening and due diligence in the commercial, financial and industrial sectors. From 2002 to 2012 he was part of the UK Governments, British Antarctic Survey as a Base Commander and from 2005 to 2012 he was a British Antarctic Territory Magistrate. He was a recipient of the Polar Medal from Her Majesty the Queen in 2012 for services to the UK in the Antarctic. John is also a fellow of the Royal Geographic Society (RGS) and a member of both the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Institute of Directors (IoD).
