ABI survey in relation to Legal Aid Agency (LAA) instructions

The Governing Council of the Association of British Investigators (ABI) is considering an attempt to engage with the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) again, mainly with regards to process serving. This is likely to be a very time-consuming project. Before committing resources we wish to gauge the extent of the membership interest in LAA work. We would also like to hear the views of non ABI members in the industry.

We therefore invite anyone involved in the industry to please complete a short questionnaire by completing the survey below. The initial aims are:

1. To understand if there is a need (& membership interest) for ABI to try and engage with LAA on behalf of our members and the wider industry.

2. To understand if we have any experienced members who are willing to help and form a working group in an attempt to work with the LAA

3. To provide various data for any prospective working group (it will be up to that working group to decide what and how to use it)

Please do feel to pass this survey to other colleagues in the industry.
