The late Frank MARTIN was a long-serving GC member, President in 1970, pioneer of innovative ideas, not least the founder of the ABI Benevolent Fund and, through his generosity, the person who placed the ABI in its position of financial strength that we all benefit from to this day. It was therefore fitting for the ABI to create this award in Frank’s name and memory, which is presented to a member who is considered to have served the Association above and beyond the call of duty.
This year, the award went to Tony Rosinger, F1408 from Wiltshire, who joined the association in 2006 and has had a consistent and valued presence ever since.
Tony is a regular and active contributor to ABI AGMS and events, never afraid to ask thoughtful and occasionally challenging questions of the Governing Council. But what sets them apart is the way they do it.
Always measured.
Always constructive.
And always delivered with respect, good humor…and usually with a smile.
They also serve the Association as one of our Serjeants-at-Arms.
