Our thoughts are with ABI member from Ukraine, Igor Tymofeyev and his wife who remain in Kyiv, unable to evacuate and suffering the constant bombardment and horrors of war.
However, we were today pleased to receive news that they are well, or at least better than may be expected in the circumstances.
ABI member from Berlin, Germany, Lothar Muller, is in daily contact with Igor and is kindly taking care of Igor's daughter-in-law and her two children, who are safe and staying at the home of Lothar and Anna in Berlin.
The ABI extends its gratitude to Lothar and Anna who are trying their best to make Igor's family stay in Berlin as comfortable as can be and with some home themed entertainment, they hope will add some comfort in these unfortunate times.
The token of relaxation included a recent local Ukrainian music festival and a welcome by the local Deputy Mayor to the city of Berlin.
