BTEC Level 3 Foot and Mobile SurveillanceAbout the courseThis 5 day course is now accredited as a BTEC level 3 advanced award by Edexcel and the Northern College of Further Education (NCFF). Open to anyone who wishes to learn surveillance skills, it is suitable for those with absolutely no experience and also those who have been in the industry for some time. For those undertaking an NVQ in Investigation Level 3 & 4, the five day course will provide all the ‘evidence’ that you require to complete Units 9, 16, 17 and 18. Past attendees include:
Students completing the course receive a certificate of completion. ISS Training Ltd is well respected within the industry as training providers. What Students can expectSkills are taught which are necessary for gathering evidence by covert means and to become a proficient surveillance operator. ISS teach how to carry out surveillance whilst on foot, in a vehicle and also from a static point. These skills are then put into practise by carrying out supervised surveillance exercises both mobile and on foot. The training is further enhanced with lessons on legal issues and the laws in relation to evidence gathering and photography. This practical course includes training exercises that are realistic, structured and controlled to gain the most benefit for the student. All equipment such as vehicles, covert radios and cameras are supplied. There are normally a maximum of eight students per course.
